My personal blog for Virtua Fighter

A lot of the old assets are not working anymore in this blog. What I had intended for this blog to be, a very well-organized notebook for the latest version of Virtua Fighter will now be transferred over to a private discord. I might use this blog instead for a variety of VF articles.

Introduction

Note: The blog is going through changes and the Introduction entry is currently outdated.

Currently, the VF Moves Project is in its Early Build--a bare backbone Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown blog where all moves and information is linked.  I will periodically update the blog's move pages with basic move information and revised images.  In addition, game analysis and miscellaneous information will be posted.

The goal of the VF Moves Project is to be a visual and intuitive resource for Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown, where people can learn different nuances of the game.  If you are looking for more directed instructions on how to play the game, here is a list of recommended tutorials.  For the most current discussion and information in all aspects related to Virtua Fighter, please check Virtua Fighter Dot Com.  A list of additional resources can be found in the acknowledgement section (these can be in Japanese).  Finally, one of the very first thing you want to learn about the game's system is the buffer system.

For the best viewing of the VF Moves Project, please use Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome.  Currently, there are some minor issues with the blog when viewed in either browsers.

To help find your way through the blog, each character have two directories--a home page and an index page--on the right column side.  The System Analyses and Commentaries lists all blog posts related to general game analyses and commentaries.  Below are links to each character's Default Stance page.  The moves are first categorized by attack property, then either by execution speed or throw direction (in the brackets "[ ]"):
