[General] Default Stance

The stance a character starts the match in.  Vanessa is unique and can begin a round in either Defensive Style or Offensive Style.  Dural is similar to Vanessa in that she have two complete stances: Rapid Mode and Massive Mode.  Unlike Vanessa, Dural can only begin a match in Rapid Mode.

[General] Down

A character status in which the character is laying on the ground.

[General] Mid Strike

Mid strikes successfully hits opposing character that is crouching

[General] Defensive Move

Also known as Evade.

23 frames total for successful evade.  25 frames total for failed evade (VFR)

[General] Forward Crouch Dash

Requires a minimum of 5 frames to avoid high throws.  Recovers crouching.

[General] Low Strike

Low strikes will hit opposing character that is standing guard, but will be successfully defended by crouching guard.

[General] High Throw


Standard high throws will take 10 frames to execute.

[General] Offensive Move

A general move that can be used to put you at opponent's side (side situation).

Offensive Move (OM) - have different properties dependent on distance between the fighters. 

Close Range OM - 20 total frames. Buffered strikes will normally have side attack properties. 

Long Range OM - 25 total frames.

Total frames determined through tests with the assumption of a 12-frame input buffer window. Verified through frame-by-frame video analysis afterwards. Still need to confirm with previous listed total frames of 22 (1)

Miscellaneous Notes:  In original VF5, offensive move had some evasive properties.
