I will describe the organization of the characters sections using Akira as an example. First you have two character directories to help navigate through the character sections:
- The character main page (top row of tabs) - presently the table of contents, but envisioned to be more than just a table of contents in the future. You have links to the character's main sections from there.
- The character indexes (right column list) - same function as the index found in the back of a book.
- The Trunk Pages- example of this is the default stance page and back turned page. The characteristics of these pages is a photobucket slideshow with an ordered list of numerous options (right image). The slideshows can be manually paused and moved forward or backward to the desired move (hover your cursor over the slideshow and a control panel will appear on the slideshow's lower right corner). The titles above the images correlates to the ordered list below it. You will noticed that the moves are organized in a certain way. For strikes they are organized by attack level, execution speed, and damage. For throws it is ordered by escape direction and damage. Every option listed have a short description and links to their separate pages
- The Branch Pages - these are the pages that usually links from a trunk page (below image). It can be relatively short or large depending on the move and options from that move (for example, Kaiko and Fujinkyaku Pages). For each of these pages, it starts with the "flow chart" (The flow chart image are not part of the Early Build). These charts usually start with "default stance" or "back turned" label. Some special options such as Shichiseiho or Teirou Kanpo have the list of moves that lead to the option described on the page. Images within the branch pages have captions with text links leading back to a trunk page.
- The Leaves - The detailed information (frame data, properties/description, and miscellaneous notes) will be relatively incomplete for the Early Build (Akira high strikes and low strikes are relatively detailed while the other moves are not). Most of the information posted in the command lists will be added during Stage 3, specifically the frame data. You will notice that the many of the information have links to general non-character-specific pages.
